High-voltage testing apparatus AV-50/70 (hereinafter referred to as the apparatus) is intended for testing the insulation of power cables and solid dielectrics with rectified electric voltage, for testing solid dielectrics with a sinusoidal electric voltage of 50 Hz. The device allows performing, in a short-term mode, preliminary burning of the cable using a current-limiting resistor (to be specified in the order). In this version, the device has the letter "P" in its name.
The device can be used as a source of high voltage in test complexes when testing: cables with XLPE insulation with a frequency of 0.1 Hz; when testing electrical protective equipment.
